Even though we have up to 8 dreams every night, their importance has, unfortunately, slipped away from many people’s lives. You can barely ever hear someone discussing their nightly adventures anymore. Chances are before you decided to pursue Lucid Dreaming, you were in the same camp.

Sure, people may talk about the dream they had last night from time to time, but it’s usually a nightmare or a dream that’s unique and very different from all the rest.

It’s hard to pin down exactly why things are the way they are.

Perhaps the digital age has made us care a little less about what’s happening within, robbing that attention to focus on what’s occurring without.

Perhaps we lost our touch with dreams a little earlier, around the time hard science deemed them unworthy of research, ridiculing those who maintained a different view, often calling them superstitious in the process.

It’s hard to believe that something most of us experience every night could be meaningless.

Additionally, when Lucid Dreams get introduced into the discussion, it’s even harder to defend such a position. If you’ve ever had a Lucid Dream, you know exactly what we’re talking about. And even if you didn’t, you’re always but one conversation with a Lucid Dreamer away – try and ask them if the dream world is of no significance to them.

At YoruX, we believe that dreams are an essential part of our lives – both individually and collectively. Today we are here to argue our case.

The time to slow down

Today’s world is drastically different from what it used to be – and so are the people. We are all rushing and racing to whatever lies ahead, often failing to slow down, relax, and enjoy the days passing us by.

Even if we do find some extra time, it quickly fades as we scroll through social media, stare numbly at a TV screen, or fail to enjoy our free time in other ways.

Lucid Dreaming, combined with the training to achieve it, can give us the time we need to tune out of the noise from around us and focus on the world within.

Creativeness unlocked

Lucid Dreaming can best be described as an alternative reality. There is virtually no limit as to what you can do inside a conscious dream, provided you put in enough effort to train your mind.

While this different world can serve as a tool to enjoy ourselves and escape everyday worries, it can also significantly boost our creativity and problem solving. Many scientific discoveries have been made inside a dream, and it’s no wonder – after all, the mind works differently while being conscious in a dream, compared to being conscious in the real world.

If every human on earth began to Lucid Dream, it’s hard to imagine what new ideas might come to light because of it.

The community

We all have dreams. Some are ordinary, others – bizarre. It’s an experience we all share and can relate to. Lucid Dreams can strengthen this bond among us as we once again dive deep into the realm of truly magnificent experiences. Good luck, Dreamer!
